New Look, Different Platform

You may have noticed a different look to Sourtea. And there is a good reason for it. I've actually just set-up WordPress and I must say that I'm quite impressed. Create one MySQL database, edit a PHP file (all stuff that is music to my ears) and I was up and running in no time! It was brilliant. I applaud the team for all their effort into making the transition as painless as possible.

There are a few reasons I wanted to switch over to WordPress. Here is a taste:

• Hundreds, if not thousands, of themes already created for it's platform
• Another "tool" I can add to my tool belt
• Customizable (i.e., you can create your own themes with XHTML and CSS - beautiful!
• Up and running in five minutes - just like they claim

It's an industry leader and it was about time I became part of it. I'll be ironing out the kinks, so expect change and expect posts! I'll be posting about, well, almost anything. My thoughts, ideas, reviews...my life.
